Refund Policy – Cognosimo

At Cognosimo, our premium experiences and services are offered in limited numbers and require significant logistical organization (exclusive bookings, drivers, guides, gastronomic and hotel partners). For this reason, our cancellation and refund policy is intentionally strict.

0. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with consumer protection laws, customers usually benefit from a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases.

However, this right does not apply to leisure, tourism, transport, or accommodation services that must be provided on a specific date or within a defined period of time (Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code / EU Directive 2011/83/EU).

By confirming a booking with Cognosimo, the client expressly acknowledges and accepts that:

  • The 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to the services offered by Cognosimo (guided tours, private transfers, luxury experiences, vehicle rentals, and related services).

  • All bookings are considered firm and final once confirmed.

  • No refunds will be granted, except in cases expressly provided for in this policy.

1. Cancellations by the client

  • Once confirmed, all bookings are non-refundable.

  • No refund requests will be accepted, regardless of the reason for cancellation (travel, health, schedule, etc.).

  • However, the client may request, at least 21 days before the scheduled date, a one-time rescheduling of the service to another date, subject to availability and possible additional fees.

2. Cancellations by Cognosimo

  • In the event of a cancellation on our part (force majeure, safety concerns, unforeseen unavailability), the client will be offered either:

    • a rescheduling of the service to a later date, or

    • a credit valid for 12 months on all our services or

    • a cash refund on its original payment mean

3. Delays and no-shows

  • Any client delay exceeding 15 minutes from the agreed meeting time will be considered a no-show. 

  • In the case of a no-show, the service will be fully charged and no refund or rescheduling will be granted.

4. Partner services

  • Partner services (Michelin-starred restaurants, hotels, exclusive visits, etc.) are reserved specifically for you and cannot be refunded in case of cancellation.

5. Force majeure

  • In the event of exceptional circumstances beyond our control (natural disaster, strike, government restrictions, etc.), Cognosimo commits to offering either a rescheduling option or a credit, or a complete refund.

6. Exception at Cognosimo’s discretion

  • Cognosimo can decide, at its own discretion, to proceed with a partial or full refund to the client.
